WORKING WELL – 2024 ROUND-UP
The Working Well Series, from Make Me A Plan Productivity Expert, Pen Le Kelly
11.12.2024.
Hello, Fan of Plans! As we rapidly race towards the end of 2024, let’s take a little look back over the working well highlights for the year. There was so much to talk about and explore together, so let’s recap...
12 days of Christmas... Working well style:
- We started off the year looking at project planning and how we need to make sure that we build in time for contingencies.
- We also embraced AI and looked at the ways we can use it to help us in our roles
- Taking breaks can help us to be more creative – so take a step away to let your creativity flow!
- Mental health in the workplace is super important and recognising when a colleague might be struggling – so look out for each other!
- It’s been a turbulent year for politics and keeping your team up to date on what the implications might be is vital to help stop concerns.
- We looked at how the grit and determination of Olympic and Paralympic athletes can inspire us.
- Work-school balance and family life can be hard, so we looked at how we can manage our time to fit it all in!
- Cybersecurity continues to be a huge threat to businesses, so we explored how your business and colleagues can keep safe online.
- So many great things would never happen if it wasn’t for an army of volunteers – we looked at how your business can get involved in helping the local community.
- Equity, diversity and inclusion (EDI) is important for all businesses, so we looked at ways you can inspire inclusion in your workplace.
- What’s the difference between management and leadership? We explored this theme and how we can do better for our teams.
- We also took a look at world events affecting the workplace and how empathy is key to working well.
It really has been a fun-packed 2024, and as always there have been so many learning points and ways we can make our workplaces great for our teams and for ourselves.
